  • 30 Hours Funded Entitlement

    Thu 12 Jul 2018

    If you would like to get your 30 hours here at the school, parents and carers need to apply for their 30 hours code in good time. You should apply as soon as possible before the end of the summer holidays using the Childcare Choices website;

    https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

    The deadline for making an application for a 30 hour place for the Autumn term is 31st Aug 2018.

    However, parents and carers should not leave it too late to apply as HMRC may need more information to check and confirm eligibility and parents should allow time for this.

    Once the school opens in the Autumn term, parents and carers need to bring the code details to the school Office, we will then confirm the place, once the school has carried out appropriate checks. We will then ask you to complete an application form and places will be issued.

    We have attached a guide for parents and carers on how to apply.

  • Parent Questionnaire

    Tue 10 Jul 2018

    Dear Parents and Carers,

    Thank you once again for continuing to support us as a school and for helping us in providing the very best education for your child/ren. We always appreciate feedback to know how we can move forward and support the community we are involved in. It would be great if you could take the time to fill out our questionnaire for this academic year and let us know your thoughts.

    Kind regards

    Miss Kedzior and Mr Beardsmore

  • Music Clubs September

    Wed 04 Jul 2018

    Places are now available for violin and fife (small flute) lessons from September, for Year 2 to 6 pupils and are in high demand. Letters have been given out to interested pupils. Please remember reply slips are due back by THIS FRIDAY - 6th July. Lessons cost between £3.00 & £4.50 per lesson (see letter for details). Places will be allocated once all replies are in and pupils have had a music ear-test. Ability in music lessons will also be taken into consideration. Instruments are available to hire and all pupils having lessons MUST practise their instrument regularly at home between lessons. Not had a letter - please ask your child's class teacher/Mrs Bell. Any other questions please ask Mrs Bell.

    Would your child like to learn and instrument that we do not already offer? If so, please contact Mrs Bell and she will see if lessons can be arranged. Alternatively, advice will be given as to where these lessons may take place out of school.
