  • Bumblebees News - Important

    Tue 26 Aug 2014

    Dear Parents/Carers,

Unfortunately the new Bumble Bees classroom is a couple of weeks away from being completed and ready for us to use, therefore, the Bumble Bees class will be using the main hall as their learning base. This will mean that Parents/Carers will need to drop off and collect their children from the entrance by the Rainbows room. This is accessed at the back of the school in between the Butterflies and Ladybirds classrooms. We understand that this may cause some confusion and we thank you in advance for your cooperation.

  • No More Huts !

    Thu 07 Aug 2014

We currently featured in a Leicester Mercury article:

Work has started on £1.3 million worth of improvements  at Alderman Richard Hallam Primary School, with the outdated concrete "Horsa" huts being demolished.

Head teacher Mr McGowan said: "It is a historic moment to finally see the Horsa huts, built as a temporary measure after World War II, demolished and the ground cleared for the construction of new classrooms. The children are really looking forward to making the most of their purpose-built classrooms with the very latest ICT provision."

"The extra room means we'll be able to help more families who want to send their children here."
