  • P.S.H.E. including R.S.E.

At A.R.H. we believe that our children should acquire the ability to make informed, healthy and moral choices in their lives and recognise that they should play a positive role in the school and their wider community.

To endeavour that our P.S.H.E. curriculum will help enable our children to become confident, independent members of society with an awareness of their rights and responsibilities as individuals and as part of a diverse society. At A.R.H. R.S.E. is an integral part of P.S.H.E within our school. We believe all children should understand what equality is and how this impacts their lives.

P.S.H.E. creates a culture whereby children have the opportunity to talk in a supportive environment. This subject greatly supports the use of oracy with children and teachers are given opportunities to model how to discuss feelings and thoughts in lessons.
