Year 2

In Year 2, the testing arrangements and curriculum have changed from previous years. It is therefore not possible to compare last year’s result with this year’s.

Instead of levels e.g. Level 2 or Level 3, your child will either be:

  • Working towards the expected standard for a child of their age for reading, writing and mathematics.

  • Working at the expected standard for a child of their age for reading, writing and mathematics – they ‘passed’.

  • Working at a greater depth.
